Orlando's INDIE Side
Take a stroll down Orlando’s indie side. Its offbeat, authentic, crave-able, bikeable side—the culturally casual side that weaves together art museums and renegade retro retailers. Novel Ivanhoe Village restaurants and watering holes are fused by the warm lake breezes flowing from downtown’s liquid playground. Lucky visitors enjoy the happiest of hours overlooking neon sunsets that tease the distant rush hour traffic. Lines are happily blurred between antique shopping and wine garden tastings.
Orlando is filled with great districts and neighborhoods. Ours is just a little bit more unapologetic than most.

Ivanhoe Village is dedicated to meaningful, long-term revitalization of Orlando’s cultural district, its abounding history, community aesthetic, and local business prosperity through a collaborative cooperation and synergy with our businesses, residents, and partners.

Orlando Main Streets
Recognizing the important role neighborhood commercial districts play in the overall health of the City’s neighborhoods, the Orlando Main Streets program was created. With annual financial support, technical assistance and intensive training from the City of Orlando, the Orlando Main Street Districts create, define and strengthen our commercial districts in the City.
Main Street America
As a Main Street America™ Accredited program, Ivanhoe Village is a recognized leading program among the national network of more than 1,200 neighborhoods and communities who share both a commitment to creating high-quality places and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development. All Main Street America™ Accredited programs meet a set of National Accreditation Standards of Performance as outlined by the National Main Street Center.
Economic Vitality
Focuses on capital to assist new and existing businesses, catalyze property development, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and innovators that drive local economies.
Organization
Involves creating a strong foundation for a sustainable revitalization effort, including cultivating partnerships, community involvement, and resources for the district.
Promotion
Positions the downtown or commercial district as the center of the community and hub of economic activity, while creating a positive image that showcases a community’s unique characteristics.
Design
Supports a community’s transformation by enhancing the physical and visual assets that set the commercial district apart.
