Historic Bike Tours

Two options for tours in the district.

Take a Historic Bike Tour Ivanhoe Village. Our Executive Director, Christian Switzer, takes a limited group through a personalized tour of Ivanhoe Village.  For example, stops at art boxes and Lake Ivanhoe, and businesses in the district are included. During the ride, the guide will explain different features of the district, highlighting both the past and future plans. In addition to enjoying the bike ride, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the ride. After that, enjoy a beer at Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. and watch the sunset. In short, a lovely tour around the Virginia Drive or the Orange Avenue portion of Ivanhoe Village, a few sips, and a pretty sunset. Afterward, we invite you to hang out in the district and enjoy our beautiful slice of Orlando.

Above all, HOPR graciously provides the bikes for our tour. Our district embraces the micro-mobility movement.

VIRGINIA DRIVE TOUR – 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Meet at Ivanhoe Park Brewing, take ride through the Virginia Drive portion of Ivanhoe Village, visiting historic stops along Brookhaven, Virginia, and Alden Drive. In addition to the ride, included with the purchase of a ticket is a drink at Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company, a train shot at The Hammered Lamb, and an Ivanhoe Village tote bag are included.

ORANGE AVENUE TOUR – 5:45 pm – 7:00 pm

Meet at Ivanhoe Park Brewing, take ride through the gorgeous Gaston Edwards Park along Lake Ivanhoe. Stop at the art boxes and learn about the artists and the images that are painted. Travel up to toward Princeton, visiting historic stops along Orange Avenue. Included with your ride is a drink at Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company, a drink at Imperial Wine Bar, and an Ivanhoe Village tote bag.
