We are Ivanhoe Village Main Street, a 501c3 non-profit organization, dedicated to meaningful, long-term revitalization of Orlando’s cultural district, its abounding history, community aesthetic, and local business prosperity through a collaborative cooperation and synergy with our businesses, residents and partners. We work daily to amplify our businesses and create a place that businesses can thrive in, people want to reside in, and consumers want to invest in.
Our program sits under the umbrella of City of Orlando’s Orlando Main Streets, part of the nationwide Main Street America movement. The Main Street network is made up of more than 1,200 neighborhoods and districts “who share both a commitment to place and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development”.
Ivanhoe Village Main Street is made up of multiple committees. The committees are comprised of our elected Board of Directors, engaged business owners and residents. With a staff of one Executive Director, volunteers are paramount to the success of our organization. Our Economic Vitality Committee focuses on education, connecting with businesses, inventory vacancies, and is always looking for ways to further elevate our commercial district. Our Design Committee focuses on the art, landscape, overall aesthetics of the neighborhood, and is always looking for ways to incorporate Ivanhoe Village’s history, charm and character into their designs. Our Promotions Committee organizes the IVMS events and other promotions, and is always looking for ways to further bring recognition to the businesses and amenities of Ivanhoe Village.
In addition to our volunteers, as a non-profit organization, our stakeholders are key players in our programming. Some of the ways we fundraise to truly take our projects to the next level include business memberships, sponsorships, resident donations, events and more.
