For 17 years, our neighborhood has put on Jingle Eve. Occurring the Saturday before Thanksgiving, Jingle Eve is the first taste of the holidays to come each year for Orlandoans. The evening includes Santa’s Workshop, a boat parade on Lake Ivanhoe, live entertainment, shopping, dining, and much more. This year, a new tradition was added to the festivities: the lighting of the “Happy Holidays” sign on top of the historic Ivanhoe building—now, each year, Jingle Eve will be the night it is lit.
We’re grateful to Jess Regan Photography for capturing some of memories of the evening. Visit the Jingle Eve Facebook page to see albums of Jingle Eve and the boat parade. To keep up on Jingle Eve plans (and to participate in planning yourself), like that Jingle Eve page. Update will also be listed on our website here.
Jingle Eve 2014 will be Saturday, November 22. Mark your calendar and count the days!
