Description

CFCArts offers opportunities for education and performance for every type of artist!
There is an opportunity to shine in every age group and experience level. Central Florida
Community Arts exists to serve and build community through the arts.
Summer camps are the perfect place for kids to explore their creative side, with a wide
array of artistic avenues such as directing, playwriting, theatre, dance, and much more!
CFCArts also offers Music Therapy designed and tailored to the individual needs and
preferences of the client or group, which can aid in goals such as Cognition, Communication,
Physical/Motor Skills, and Sensory Processing.
Our Symphony Orchestra is composed of 200 non-auditioned musicians who volunteer
from the Central Florida community. Beyond our major orchestral productions each year, we
regularly partner with our Community Choir, theater productions, and local community partners
to provide even more incredible opportunities to take the stage!
Similarly, our Big Band of over 30 non- auditioned artists welcomes musicians from both
come-back players after a long hiatus to educators to retirees to those that gig regularly around
Central Florida. This is one of our most frequently performing adult ensembles with multiple
featured performances per year, and some community gigs as well at local holiday events, jazz
festivals, art walks, and more!

UpBeat! Theatre Troupe is a performance group for youth, teen, and young adult
exceptional learners. UpBeat! is open to actors with a variety of exceptionalities, including (but
not limited to) autism, Down syndrome, and ADHD.

Narrators are an enthusiastic group of older adults (55+) who have a desire and a mission
to give back to the community by performing and having a lot of fun doing it. Each class session
features vocal warm-ups, and senior-friendly theatre games designed to get participants laughing
and imaginations active.

Whether it be onstage, backstage, or in the audience, CFCArts is a community that is
continuously growing to meet the needs of the Central Florida area, bringing the arts to all.
