Tucked along North Orange Ave sits the building with the beautiful windows you drive past and wonder, what magic happens there? The Conduit is a meaningful gathering place in our district. While many people describe it as a coworking community, the team behind The Conduit prefers the phrase “an interdisciplinary society”, a network of likeminded people who believe life and work are better when we come alongside each other. It’s a philosophy that has shaped the space since its early beginnings in 2011 as a series of workshops, with the current collaborative workspace model launching in 2016 and the Ivanhoe location opening in 2017.

The Conduit is unlike any other workspace in Orlando. Housed inside a former architecture space, the interior feels like its own tiny village, with thoughtfully built office “homes,” winding walkways, gathering spaces, and creative corners tucked throughout the building. Today, those spaces are home to nonprofits, creatives, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and civic organizations, including Ivanhoe Village Main Street itself.

Walk through the front doors and you’re immediately greeted by the comforting aroma of freshly roasted coffee from local roaster Credo Coffee. Rotating art exhibitions line the walls, conversations spill out from meeting rooms, and there’s a constant sense that something inspiring is happening just around the corner. It’s the kind of place where work meetings turn into collaborations, introductions turn into friendships, and ideas grow simply because people are willing to share space with one another.

As special as the physical space is, the people are what truly make The Conduit matter. Over the years, Ivanhoe Village has seen volunteers, Board members, business partners, artists, and countless collaborations emerge from the relationships built there. The Conduit has become a connector, not just for businesses, but for people who genuinely want to invest in each other and in the broader Orlando community.

In a district built on creativity, culture, and connection, The Conduit embodies all three. We are grateful for the energy, collaboration, and care they continue to bring to Ivanhoe Village.
